Fuel tank for Volvo 140, 164, 1974, 240, 260, 1975-1978

Fuel tank for Volvo 140 and 164, model year 1974, and Volvo 240 and 260, model years 1975–1978. The tank has the early type of connection with a tank sender unit with bayonet fitting. There is no side connection.

Engines with B20E or B30E require modification when fitting this tank. On cars with carburettor engines the threaded connection on the side is not needed – it is only necessary for early fuel-injected models. On fuel-injected cars an additional fuel filter between the return line and the tank is recommended, unless the return line is replaced at the same time.
