Electrolux Wiper Mechanism Cable – Volvo Amazon, P1800

Wire/cable for the windshield wiper mechanism on Volvo Amazon and P1800 with the Electrolux wiper system. Replacement part for the original cable in the wiper mechanism.

The cable runs around the roller beneath the wiper shaft and transfers movement within the wiper mechanism.

Good to know

On some vehicles, the grooves in the roller beneath the wiper shaft may be worn. This can make the new cable appear approximately 1–2 mm too long.

This can easily be compensated for by placing one or two washers under the nut. Originally, there was normally no washer under the lock nut.
