On the ENV axle, the differential is inserted into the axle housing from the front. On the Spicer M30 the axle tubes measure 63.5 mm in outside diameter, against 57 mm on the M27. The ratio is stamped on a tag by the differential cover or, on later axles, on a plate underneath.
