Generator Volvo PV/Duett (B18)
Weak charging, a glowing charging control lamp at idle or odd noises from the generator can point to worn brushes or dry bearings. On the B18 engine the DC generator runs in a 12V version, which sets it apart from the earlier 6-volt parts and makes it important to check the fit against engine and model year.
