Choke Volvo Amazon (B18B/D)
A chokewire that binds or won't return fully gives rich mixtures and high idle after warm-up – on the twin-carb B18B/D, where two SU carburettors must move together, it shows up especially clearly. A worn grommet in the cowl panel and loose clamps are common checkpoints when the cable starts to hang up or chafe.
