Play in the distributor shaft, worn contact surfaces and a tired rotor arm cause a rough idle, poor cold starts and timing that wanders – classic symptoms of a 122 with the B20A engine that arrived in August 1968 for the final two model years. This category gathers distributor parts and related components tied to the ignition on that very engine.

The group includes the distributor and rotor arm, ignition coil and spark plugs, along with seals, gaskets and grease for fitting. Decals belong here too for anyone who wants the correct markings in place after a rebuild.
When working on the ignition system, the rotor arm and the play in the spindle are typical check points – replace the arm without checking the shaft bearing and the jerky running often comes right back. Since the B20A shares the 12-volt system, the ignition coil connections and the distributor's seal against the block should also be inspected, so that moisture and oil leakage don't disturb the spark.
