Trim mouldings Volvo Amazon Wagon (220) (B18/B20)

Loose moldings and rust nests behind the chrome are among the most common body issues on a 220. When the retaining springs and fasteners give out, the molding starts to vibrate, and moisture creeping in under a gapping molding often leaves rust spots in the metal – especially along the lower edge of the sides and around the tailgate on the estate version.

This category brings together trim moldings and the small parts that hold them in place for the 220 with B18 and B20 engines. The group includes trim molding, retaining spring, anchorage and fastener as well as fastener kit, nut and junction for molding joints, plus rubber seal that seals against the metal. For a successful installation, it is precisely the fasteners and retaining springs that determine whether the molding sits taut and straight – replace worn anchorages at the same time as the molding and you avoid having to readjust later. Also check the metal under the old molding and address any beginning rust before fitting a new molding, otherwise the attack continues out of sight.
