The group includes drive axles and companion flanges for transferring power out to the wheels, bearings and bushings that absorb the wear, plus spacer washers, copper washers, clamps and hex socket screws for correct fitment and play adjustment. When rebuilding, the bearings and bushings are the natural points to check — at the same time, inspect the drive axles' companion flanges for play before everything is tightened up.
Since the rear end design differs between early and later model years, it is worth checking the chassis number against the version before ordering.
