The group includes screws, fasteners and body washers for fastening, panel pin kits for panel edges, seat foam to restore the filling, plus edge moulding and rubber buttons that hide joints and holes. A suitable pair of pliers makes the job faster and protects both plate and new trim.
A common check point: old plate fasteners become brittle over the years and crack when the panel is removed. It's better to replace them at the same time as the trim, so the door trim sits firmly and doesn't rattle against the body.
