Heating valve for Volvo PV, Duett, Amazon

Cracked gaskets behind the heater core, loose hose clamps and rusty screws are classic notes when the fresh air unit on an early 445 is disassembled. This category gathers the small parts that keep the whole unit tight and firmly in place — these are often the first to give way, long before the heater core itself is worn out.

The group includes gaskets, hose clamps, fasteners, screws, nuts, washers, spring washers and lock washers. During a restoration, the gaskets and hose clamps are typical checkpoints: a dry gasket lets through cold drafts and moisture, while worn clamps cause ducts and hoses to lose their grip. Spring and lock washers are worth replacing at the same time so the bolted joints stay put despite vibration in the body and fan.
The parts refer to the early version of the 445. Always check against the existing mounting before installation.
