Headlight Wiper Stop – Volvo 240, 245, 260, 262, 265 from 1981

Stop for the headlight wiper on Volvo 200 Series. Mounted at the bottom edge of the headlight and acts as a mechanical end stop for the wiper blade.

If the stop is missing, the wiper blade can travel too far down and become stuck under the headlight. This can put excessive strain on and, in the worst case, damage the headlight wiper motor.

From model year 1981 onwards:

• Volvo 240

• Volvo 245

• Volvo 260

• Volvo 262

• Volvo 265

For cars with rectangular headlights and headlight wipers.

Good to know

Check that the stop is fitted to both headlights and is securely mounted. A missing or damaged stop can cause the wiper blade to become stuck under the headlight and put strain on the wiper motor.
