Sealing strip hood for Volvo 240 1986-

Seal for the rear edge of the bonnet on Volvo 240, model year 1986 and later. The seal sits between the bonnet and the bulkhead in front of the windscreen. It keeps water, leaves and dirt out of the engine bay and away from the ventilation intake, and it cushions the bonnet as it closes.

An old seal goes hard, cracks and eventually comes loose. Water then leaks in at the bulkhead and the bonnet can start to rattle. Replacing the seal while the bonnet is already up gives your Volvo back the seal it had from the factory.
