The Volvo 940 may be equipped with steering racks from different manufacturers. On the vehicle identification plate in the engine compartment, the last digit of the lowest service number identifies the steering rack manufacturer:

• 1: Koyo

• 2: CamGear

• 3: ZF

• 4: TRW

This tie rod end is designed for CamGear (2) and ZF (3).

Good to Know

The tie rod end fits both left and right sides and is sold individually. When replacing it, we recommend inspecting the other tie rod ends and steering rods, followed by a wheel alignment after installation.
