Front brake drum Volvo PV / Duett / Amazon (1951–1958)
Front axle brake drum in 1-piece design. Intended for early Volvo PV, Duett and Amazon. Manufactured for good fit and safe braking performance.

Volvo Amazon 122 1957–1958 (ch.no. up to 15238)

Information
The hub at the outer bearing is slightly larger than the original. Works with original wheels but may affect fit on some aftermarket alloy wheels.
Important
Check brake drum wear regularly.
The internal diameter must not exceed 229 mm – drums that are too thin can crack under heavy braking.
According to Volvo, skimming brake drums with cracks, deep scoring or uneven surfaces is not permitted. If in doubt, the drum should be replaced.
Tip
Dismantle and clean the braking system regularly to avoid damage from dirt and particles.
Note (early PV/Duett up to approx. 1957)
The original wheel studs had different thread directions (right/left side).
New brake drums are supplied with right-hand threaded wheel studs, which may require new wheel nuts.
