Volvo PV/Duett Cooling system
A rising temperature gauge on a hot day, a seeping water pump or a thermostat that hangs open so the engine never warms up – the cooling system on the 544 and 445 serves up all the classic faults once the parts start to age. Because the engine grew from the 1414 cc B4B via the 1583 cc B16 to the 1778 cc B18, the radiator, pump details and connections differ between model years, and the right choice determines both fit and cooling capacity.
