Volvo Amazon Transmission/Rear suspension

Singing wheel bearings, a leaking pinion seal, and an overdrive that no longer engages — these are classic symptoms when the driveline in a 122 starts to wear out. The path from the B18/B20 motor out to the drive wheels runs via the clutch, gearbox, propeller shaft and rear axle, and every link has its own wear points.
