Grommets Volvo Amazon

Cracked, hardened rubber in the cowl is a classic 122 weakness – when the cable grommets dry out they let in moisture, cold draughts and, in the worst case, exhaust smell in the cabin. This category gathers grommets for the Volvo 122, both for wiring and cables through sheet metal and the cowl.

The group includes simple rubber grommets, complete grommet sets and plugs that seal unused holes in the body and floor. During restoration the cowl is a typical checkpoint – it's worth replacing aged rubber while the engine bay or wiring harness is still accessible, so you avoid recurring leaks.

Since hole diameter and sheet metal thickness vary between holes, you should measure the existing grommet before replacement, so the new one grips tightly in the metal.
