Cracked insulation, corroded contacts and loose joints are classic electrical faults on a 122 that has been on the road for decades – and on the B20 model years (the B20 arrived in August 1968 for the final two model years) the original wiring is often still in place with tired connections. This category gathers wiring and electrical accessories to repair, extend and secure the cables in the 12-volt system.

The group includes wiring and cable terminals along with cable terminals and sleeves for clean joints, clamps for routing and fastening cables neatly, plus boots and covers that protect contacts against moisture and short circuits. Bulb sockets also belong here for replacement in lighting where the socket has rusted or lost contact.
One concrete checkpoint: the fuse holder is a known weak spot where fuses oxidize and contacts come loose. Clean and tighten the connections regularly, and replace damaged cable terminals and sleeves during troubleshooting so the voltage drop disappears.
