Seizing brake calipers, unevenly worn pads or a guide pin stuck in its sleeve are common checkpoints when the brake pulls to one side or drags on a 940 without ABS. The entire front axle is disc-braked on the 900 series, so it is the caliper's movement and the condition of the pads that determine whether the brake bites evenly.
