A generator that won't charge, a sluggish starter motor on a cold morning or a distributor causing rough running – electrical faults on a 240/260 often come down to a few recurring spots. As 12V cars, charging and starting rely on the interplay between generator, battery and wiring, while the ignition system governs how smoothly the engine runs.
