When restoring the rear axle – from the 1966 model year the stronger M30 rear axle (chassis #16500) – pullers and press tools are typical aids for loosening and fitting bearings and gears without striking them off-square. Adjustment tools are used among other things for carburetor synchronization and valve checks, while a sturdy lever belongs to removing stiff bushings and spring seats.
