A stiff interior door handle, a door lock that won't catch or a glovebox lid hanging crooked – these are classic wear points in the cabin of early 140 cars built 1967-71. This category gathers the small parts that keep the interior in place and working, from locks and fittings to the mountings that lose their grip after decades of opening and closing.

The group includes interior door handles, locks and hatches as well as mounting parts such as screw, nut, washer, lock ring and lock washer. A common checkpoint during restoration is precisely the lock rings and lock washers on the handle shafts – when they get loose the mechanism starts to bind, and at that point lubrication alone rarely helps. Note that the 140 Series received an updated instrument panel and side-impact protection from 1972, so cabin details differ between early and later cars.
