The group includes gaskets and gasket sets for flanges and covers, O-rings, springs, plus screws, nuts, lock washers and washers for mounting. During a carburetor rebuild, the gasket set and the O-rings are the typical starting points – dry or cracked gaskets cause false air and a hard-to-set idle, while tired springs affect the diaphragm and needle valve.
The parts are intended for the inline-six B30A in the Volvo 164, which was introduced when the B30 took its place in the model. Always check the design against the existing carburetor before parts are replaced, as details can differ between model years.
