Which air filter fits is determined by the engine and fuel system, not just the model year. A clogged filter gives a rich mixture, sooty spark plugs and sluggish throttle response – and on the carburetor engines the filter housing and insert differ depending on whether the car has a single Stromberg CD 175, twin SUs or Bosch injection. That is why the families here are split by engine so you don't have to guess between B18A, B20B and the injected B20E/F.
