Cracked lenses, corroded bulb sockets and loose contacts that cause flickering brake lamps are classic age-related issues on the taillights. Which parts fit is determined by body and model year: the 142/144 sedan, 145 estate and six-cylinder 164 have different light designs, and the break point around 1973 affects both taillights and reflector design. USA/CAN cars also have their own rear side reflectors.
