Screw-In Adapter for Oil Pan – Volvo B18, B20 – for Oil Temperature Sensor

Screw-in adapter for the oil pan on Volvo models with B18 and B20 engines. Used to modify a standard oil pan so that an oil temperature sensor can be fitted, as on the Volvo P1800 and P1800ES.

The adapter is welded into the oil pan and fits sensors with a 5/8"-18 UNF thread.

Good to know

The oil pans on Volvo P1800 and P1800ES models have a threaded connection for the oil temperature sensor.

Adapter 418649 can be used to modify a standard B18 or B20 oil pan for installation of an oil temperature sensor.

Alternatively, we offer article 418260-B20, a newly manufactured oil pan made by us here at CVR. This eliminates the need to modify an older oil pan.

If you choose to modify an older oil pan, the adapter should be positioned on the right side of the oil pan. The center of the thread should be 75 mm from the upper corner and 85 mm from the rear corner.
