Heater Blower Resistor for Volvo 740, 940, without A/C

Heater Blower Resistor – Volvo 740, 940 without A/C – 5-Speed Fan

Resistor for the interior heater blower on Volvo 740 and 940 without A/C. The blower resistor regulates the different fan speed settings and is suitable for vehicles with a 5-speed fan.

If the interior blower only works on speed 5, a faulty blower resistor is a common cause.

Good to know

Check that the blower motor is working correctly before installing the new resistor, especially that the fan runs properly at low speed.

If the blower motor runs sluggishly or does not work correctly at low speed, the new resistor may overheat and fail again.
