FEBI Steering Rack Boot – Volvo 240, 260, 740, 760, 780, 940, 960, S90, V90

Steering rack boot from FEBI for Volvo models with power steering and CAM Gear or TRW steering racks. Fits both left and right sides.

Made from thermoplastic, the boot protects the steering rack and inner tie rod joint against dirt, water and road salt. A cracked or damaged boot should be replaced to prevent dirt from entering and causing wear to the steering rack.

• Volvo 240, 260 – 1987–1992, with CAM/TRW steering rack

• Volvo 740 – with CAM/TRW steering rack

Important information – installation

Use the correct installation tools and clamps designed for steering rack boots.

Incorrect tools or excessive tightening torque can damage the boot. Insufficient clamping force or incorrect installation may cause the boot to slip out of position or leak.

Follow the manufacturer's instructions for clamps and installation tools. Specified tightening torques are guidelines only.

Good to know

Sold individually. Two boots are required to replace both sides.

Check the steering rack manufacturer and connection dimensions before ordering. For Volvo 240 models with a CAM steering rack, this version is intended for the M14 thread.
