Air filter Volvo Amazon (B18B/D) (1967-68)
Sluggish throttle response, a sooty exhaust smell and rising fuel consumption can point to a clogged element – a common check point on the 122 with twin SU carburettors. On the B18B/D engine 1967-68 there are two carburettors that quickly draw in unclean air if the filter is tired, which should be checked at every major service.
