Rough idling, false air or a motor that pulls poorly at the transition to part throttle are common symptoms that can point to a leaking intake or a worn-out sensor. This category gathers inlet manifold parts for the 6-cylinder Volvo 940/960 – but not for the V6 B280, which is important because the intake design and connections differ between the motor variants.

The group includes the throttle housing, potentiometer (TPS sensor) and sensors that control air flow and idle, together with seal rings, gaskets, connectors, plugs and screws for mounting. Gaskets and seal rings are typical inspection points for leaks – dry, hard gaskets readily let in false air that disturbs the mixture. When replacing, it is worth checking the throttle housing potentiometer at the same time.
