Not intended for sport or heavy-duty use.
For vehicles with external brake adjustment, an adjustment hole must be drilled in the drum.

For early Volvo PV and Duett models (up to approx. 1957), different thread directions were used on wheel studs. New brake drums are supplied with right-hand threaded studs, which may require new wheel nuts.

 

Installation (summary)

  • Ensure all mating surfaces are clean and free from rust and grease

  • Align the keyway in the drum and axle correctly

  • Check proper fit of the key before installation

  • Tighten the crown nut to 120 Nm and secure with a split pin
