Delivery Terms
These delivery terms apply to all purchases made on classicvolvorestoration.se for customers in the United States and Canada. We are committed to delivering your parts quickly and securely so your project can stay on track.
1. No Hidden Fees – DDP (Delivered Duty Paid)
To provide the best possible service for our North American customers, all orders are shipped DDP (Delivered Duty Paid).

What this means for you: The price you see at checkout is the final price. We take full responsibility for all import duties, customs clearance fees, and international taxes. You will not receive an unexpected bill from customs or the courier before your package is delivered. We handle the paperwork and the costs so you don't have to.
2. Shipping Options
We offer several shipping methods depending on the weight, dimensions, and destination of your order. Available options will be displayed at checkout.

Combined Shipping: If your order contains multiple items and some are temporarily out of stock, we typically wait until the entire order is ready before shipping. If we anticipate a significant delay, we will contact you to discuss a partial shipment.

Freight/Pallet Shipping: For oversized or very heavy items (such as engine blocks or body panels), we use specialized freight carriers. Please note that freight deliveries are "curbside" only.
3. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated based on the volume and weight of the order.

Shipping Estimates: The cost shown at checkout is an estimate. For exceptionally bulky items or remote destinations, we may need to adjust the shipping cost manually. In these rare cases, we will always contact you for approval of the final cost before processing your order.
4. Delivery Times
Estimated delivery times depend on stock availability and will be shown during checkout.

In-Stock Items: We typically ship in-stock parts within 1–2 business days.

Special Order Items: For items not currently in stock, the delivery time is calculated from the date we receive the part from our supplier. You will receive updated tracking information via email.
5. Unclaimed Packages
It is your responsibility to receive or collect your delivery according to the instructions provided by the carrier.

If a package is returned to our warehouse as "unclaimed" or "undeliverable," an administrative fee will be charged to cover handling and return freight. This fee is $25.00 for standard packages and $110.00 for freight/pallet shipments.
6. Shipping Damage
We pack our parts with extreme care, but if damage occurs during international transit, quick action is required:

Inspect on Arrival: Thoroughly check the packaging and the product as soon as you receive it.

Report Immediately: Any visible damage to the box must be noted with the driver or at the pickup point immediately.

Contact Us: Damages must be reported to
support@classicvolvorestoration.comwithin 24 hours of delivery. Please include clear photos of the damage, the packaging, and your order number.
7. Returns
When exercising your right to return an item, you as the customer are responsible for the return shipping costs.

Return Fee: For standard returns, a $7.00 administrative fee will be deducted from your refund to cover processing.

Freight Returns: For heavy items delivered via freight, return costs are higher and based on weight/dimensions. Always contact customer service before initiating a freight return.

Responsibility: We are not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit. We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service and ensuring the items are packed securely.
