Important information when selecting a 2x8" brake servo
Brake boosters of type 2x8" are available in two different versions. The difference lies in the length of the push rod (plunger) to the master cylinder.
The push rods are not interchangeable between the two versions, so it is important to select the correct model.
If you are unsure which version is installed in the vehicle, loosen the master cylinder, pull it slightly back, and inspect the push rod. It should normally protrude clearly from the servo housing.
This version has a long operating rod, which protrudes significantly from the housing (approximately as long as the mounting studs).
Always verify model, brake system and version before ordering.
