If the windshield is installed in vehicles manufactured before 1991, the corresponding adhesive should be used, (1161780),in contrast to the adhesive for windows up to year 1990 (1161785) which is thinner. The window lies slightly lower in the window frame, where the sealing strip seals that are found on the window solidify the seal.
